The Great Smokies!

After Michigan, Aaron and I headed south to North Carolina. On our road trip, we decided to stop and spend a couple days near Gatlinburg, TN so we could explore Great Smokey Mountain National Park. It is such a beautiful area...unfortunately we mostly saw only rain and fog :( It poured both times we tried to hike to various waterfalls, and was so foggy at Clingman's Dome we couldn't see the other cars in the parking lot let alone the mountains and valleys. So, Great Smokey stays on our list of areas to explore and hopefully we can go back at a better time in the future! :)
