Awes Apple Orchard

A few weeks ago, we were supposed to go up to Devils Lake to go hiking and take fall color pictures. However there was a 60% chance of rain and snow with temperatures in the 30s. So we chose not to make the long trip up there. Instead we went on a hunt for a good apple orchard (like we had in Michigan). We drove down to the very popular Apple Hollar, but were very disappointed with how commercial and EXPENSIVE it was. On our way back, we stopped at Awes Apple Orchard. It was quite small, but still gave us the opportunity to pick our own apples. And it will have to do until we can get back to Michigan. :)
