Landsford Canal

In April 2010 I flew to North Carolina during Spring Break to visit my sister and friends in the Charlotte area. Each time I visit, my photo buddy Patricia and I try to go on some type of photo excursion to some place we'd never been before. This trip took us to Landsford Canal near the North Carolina/South Carolina border. Her husband Josh and baby Michelle joined us also, which was good fortune because Josh ended up rescuing a giant snapping turtle from a tree root and saving us girls from several snakes!
